SAFETY FIRST HOME SELLING
COVID-19 COMPLIANT MARKETING PROCESS
How Does Coronavirus Impact Home Selling?
Coronavirus impacts the home selling process – everything from the initial listing consultation through marketing preparation. Physical showings are significantly different and open house events are forbidden.
Coronavirus has changed everything about selling a home, but we are not in a panic. I’ve been through multiple recessions and I know how to “make it work” for my clients!
The health and safety of our clients and community is our top priority! We’ve rebuilt our home selling process from the ground up to make the most of today’s rules and recommendations.
We’ve been on that cutting edge of digital marketing for years, but we are seriously upping our game. Some of our innovations are so good, we will incorporate them into our standard business practices!
One of the biggest coronavirus impacts on home selling is with in-person meetings.
We offer One-Click video conferencing that will allow us to meet, almost as in person. We are also comfortable with any system you might already use. We’ll assess all your options, including options that might allow you to stay put and not sell. We’ll develop strategies that account for the latest local rules and recommendations.
Coronavirus Impact On Home Price
You probably have an opinion on how the impact coronavirus on home selling in regard to price, now or in the near future. You are probably hoping (expecting!) me to help you predict what your home will sell for today.
I am really sorry, but I can’t do that. In fact, no one can predict where prices will go because we have never been here before.
I can, however, show you where we are this minute. My Coronavirus MLS Tracker reports real estate activity in your local area every single week. We use this data to collaborate with our home sellers on how pricing strategies.
The coronavirus impact on selling homes that are vacant is a lot less than it is for occupied homes. We are able to do almost everything in our traditional Pre-Covid marketing plan.
Home inspectors (READ: All About Pre-Sale Inspections), photographers and movers (for moving the staging into a home) are all essential businesses and are able to come to your home.
Our Services Include:

The health and safety of everyone living in your home is our first priority and the coronavirus impact on selling these homes is significant. It is not currently possible to show an occupied home in person. And, you may be reluctant to allow people into your home even when we are able to move about more freely. We’ve got your back.
We offer a completely virtual experience for the occupied home. We will help you prepare and photograph your own home with friendly tutorials and one on one instruction. We will take your photographs and digitally enhance them for the best possible result.
For homeowners willing to allow limited access we will instruct you on preparing your home and then professionally photograph and produce a 3d scan.
Safety First Home Showings And “Open House”
We follow strict home showing protocols approved by the California Association of Realtors in cooperation with the Center for Disease Control. Any visitor will sign a complete disclosure and agreement assessing their current health and agreeing to wear booties, gloves, and protective face mask.
Once an interested buyer has viewed all of the materials for an occupied home we can arrange for the homeowner to conduct a virtual showing of their home via video.
Open House events are widely promoted virtual events that happen on multiple platforms simultaneously. Our Virtual Open House Events attract hundreds of visitors. Our first Virtual Open House was written about in CurbedLA and the City of Glendale Website. Read: DIGGS Media Mentions
Safety First Escrow Process
Getting a home under contract is the first big step in the home selling process, but there is an entire process ahead.
We make sure everything from the home appraisal to the notary is safe and compliant. Almost everything is electronic, but when human presence is legally required, strict protocols are followed.
