SPARR HEIGHTS LOCATION

Sparr Heights is the cute neighborhood directly south of the Montrose Shopping Village. In fact, many people refer to this neighborhood as Montrose, but it is located in the city of Glendale

WHAT PEOPLE LOVE

This is probably one of the most beloved neighborhoods in all of Glendale. It offers a rare village lifestyle where everything you need for daily living is just a short stroll away. There is an almost Mayberry RFD feel, here. Neighbors greet each other by name and kids are free to play on the street or pop up to the coffee shop.

Halloween in Sparr Heights is a special time! Many residents are involved in the entertainment industry and they go all out with amazing decorations, lighting and special effects.

The Harvest Festival is considered the best Farmer’s Market in town. Sparr Heights residents often make this a part of their weekly shopping ritual and meeting friends and neighbors each week is all part of the village lifestyle.

What People Don’t Love

Special events can draw a real crowd and outsiders are not always considerate. Residents can give away as many as 2000 pieces of candy and still run out before the night is done!

SCHOOLS

Fremont Elementary is probably the smallest, most intimate elementary school in Glendale. Everyone knows each other and the bond between teachers, parents, and students feels like the bonds of a tight village.

Rosemont Middle School and Crescenta Valley High School are the highest-rated academic schools in Glendale, but don’t let that fool you. The students and opportunities are quite diverse!

Clark Magnet High School is a magnet school for science and technology.
