City View from Brockmont

City View from Brockmont

There are two parts to Brockmont – the lower part, closer to Mountain, has a peaceful, almost rural feel. The upper part is more contemporary and the panoramic city views are far more important than a mature tree canopy. This is a hilly neighborhood, but the streets are relatively wide and easy to navigate.

The big reason people love living in Brockmont – the views are stunning. Rimcrest, Wonderview and Maginn are just a few of the streets that offer city light view to rival high end real estate anywhere in Los Angeles.

Balboa Elementary School has become a  very popular school. Toll Middle School offers dual language for Korean, Armenian and Spanish and Hoover High School offers dual language programs in Armenian, Korean and Spanish as well as an award winning marching band.

Architectural styles are varied and a little eclectic in Brockmont. The homes located closer to Mountain St. are generally character home built in the 1930’s – 1960’s. There are a few Mid Century and Regency homes as well as some of the area’s finest Spanish Estates.

A little higher up the hillside are more contemporary homes.
