WHAT PEOPLE LOVE
People love the charming English Cottage character of a typical Janes Village home. Janes, as in E. P. Janes the designer and builder. (True Confession – as a baby Realtor I thought it was Jane’s Village – like there was a silver-haired matron named Jane who lived there)
E.P. Janes wanted to build 1000 homes in Altadena – and while he fell short (it is estimated he built just 160 homes) the neighborhood feels quiet and charming, filled with the distinctive English style.
