A melting pot of people, housing and cultures.

South Glendale has all the diversity and texture that you would expect from an urban environment. Everyone from socially minded hipsters to Ma and Pa Kent coexist in an interesting melting pot. There are few pretentious coffee house chains. Instead, there are fascinating ethnic hole-in-the-wall eateries, cafes and bakeries. What sort of ethnicity? You name it, we’ve got it.
Famous sights and landmarks include Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where more major Hollywood stars are buried than any other spot in the world, and the lovely Spanish Colonial Revival Train Station.

Adams Hill is a charming hill community in South Glendale developed mostly in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Narrow winding streets conceal delightful Spanish, English Tudor and Mid Century gems all mushed together in a grand tapestry. Some of the most affordable homes with fantastic views and unexpected hillside settings are found right here. The people are equally colorful and diverse. Adams Hill is as close as we get to Urban Cool.
