Tom and Julie

My wife & I first met Kendyl about 20 years ago when we talked for a few minutes about what nearby houses might sell for in the near future. Kendyl stopped by our house periodically & we began to have a personal relationship with her. We have a friend who has his own brokers office on the West Side & one night at dinner he said – out of the blue – “If you ever sell your house, use Kendyl – she has one of the most professionally run offices in the LA area.” Turns out, a few months later we decided selling our house was our next step We are up in age & wanted to move closer to our children & grand children. The Kendyl I met when we went over the pre-sale contract was a different Kendyl than when we had chatted those many times over the last twenty years. She was all business & described the entire process from that meeting till the house was sold. I saw what my friend said about Kendyl being professional. Kendyl presented me with a task list of about 50 items to prepare our house for the first open. She even made suggestions as to what to do with the landscaping. Simone scheduled the inspections for termite, chimney, house & sewer. Kendyl wanted to know in advance what a buyer might discover. Simone continued to be involved, making sure everything was on schedule to meet critical dates. The first open house came, with two of Kendyl’s team members arriving early to make sure the house was ready. When the first offer came, we decided how to counter. Then the process of getting the buyer to move things along started & Kendyl always positively approached any delays, keeping the end goal – closing the sale – in sight. And Simone often kept us informed of the progress of getting through escrow. Eventually all contingencies were removed & the house officially sold. Then the fun of packing 47 years of treasures began. Kendyl even spent a few hours wrapping our treasures for the move. Julie & I were quite pleased with Kendyl & her team, headed up by Simone. Tom
