SHADOW HILLS LOCATION
Shadow Hills is an equestrian community located to the east of the 210 freeway.
WHAT PEOPLE LOVE
If you love horses or the ranch culture, but need to be close to urban employment centers, you’ll love living in Shadow Hills. The lots tend to be large, relative to surrounding areas, and there are some significant homes and estates. It used to be common to see people on horseback on the streets, at the local cafe or along the many trails, but, sadly, that culture is less prevalent.
What People Don’t Love
This is a rural area. There are not a lot of shops, restaurants or entertainment.
SCHOOLS
ShadowHills belongs to the Los Angeles Unified School District. There are a lot of choices in this large and diverse district, including many magnet and charter options. We highly recommend checking the LAUSD School Finder to identify current school options.
