Cool Home Crush – Craftsman Bungalow, Normandie Heights, Pasadena

Craftsman Bungalow in Pasadena

This Craftsman Bungalow at 728 E.Howard Street. is filled with soul and nostalgia. It’s located in Normandie Heights – a charming slightly rural neighborhood just west of Lake Ave. Do you know the Westminster Presbyterian Church at Lake and Woodbury? You know, the church with the tall, ornate spire? Yeah, that neighborhood. It’s super charming.

Why We Love This Craftsman Bungalow

There is front porch perfect for displaying pumpkins and greeting trick or treat guests (next year, hopefully!).

Seemingly endless bookcases line either side of the fireplace for some serious COVID cuddle up time. I could spend days curled up on that couch, gazing out the clouds that I can see through all those windows or toasting myself in front of the fire.

I imagine watching the littles playing in the front yard as I do the dishes in the huge farmhouse sink (Am I the only one soothed by the ritual of washing the dishes?) and the backyard reminds me of summer camp – a perfect place to relax and explore nature.

I love that the trailhead to my favorite hike on Echo Mountain is just up the street.

Wanna Go See 728E. Howard??

This Will Sell QUICK!

It is getting darn near impossible to find a great home for less than $800,000. This home is not palatial, but it has a large flat lot and a great location. I predict it will last on the market for about 5 minutes…. and it took me 2 minutes to write this post.
