Father’s Day Events 2016

There are a variety of events going on for Father’s Day that are fun for the whole family. Here is a list of things to check out this weekend! We wish all of the dads out there a wonderful Father’s Day!

Under Armour Father’s Day Golf Experience
Enjoy Daddy-and-Me golf stations, giveaways, raffles, photo opportunities and more. Under Armour will have a viewing lounge with food by K. Ramen Burger where Dads can watch the U.S. Open while enjoying a cold beer. Sign up for 1 of 2 sessions, 10 AM or 11:30 AM. $15 ticket is for 1 child admission (with 1 parent to accompany child) and includes choice of 1 golf session with mini golf, driving range and chipping stations. All equipment will be provided. A percentage of proceeds will benefit The First Tee of Los Angeles.

No reservations required for their special craft beer pairings from Stone Brewing Company with their new grill menu in the Café. Every dad who dines at the Café will be entered automatically in a prize drawing for a chance to win a Weber BBQ smoker. Their Gift Shop is stocked with some neat Father’s Day items that might be worth checking out.

Pasadena Chalk Festival Paseo Colorado and City Hall  280-300 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena
June 18th Sat & 19th Sun 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Free
More than 600 artists layout their chalk and art supplies to create masterpieces on the sidewalks and streets of Pasadena surrounding the City Hall and Paseo Colorado. This is the largest street painting festival in the world and draws over 100,000 people to the event. Live music, kids craft area with free face painting, and silent auction.

15th Annual Pasadena Police Classic Car Show Green Street behind Paseo Colorado Mall
June 19th Sun 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Visitors and participants will enjoy an afternoon of Food Booths, Raffle Prizes, Police Helicopter Ride Auction, LOJACK Auction. Proceeds from this event benefits the Pasadena PAL Program, Peace Over Violence Organization and the Pasadena Police Explorer Post.

Long Beach Bayou Festival Rainbow Lagoon Park at E. Shoreline Dr.
June 18th Sat 11 AM – 9 PM and  June 19th Sun 11 AM – 7:30 PM Admission $30
Experience New Orleans and Louisiana Bayou Country without leaving So. Cal! Participate in the Mardi Gras Parade with a New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band. Bring a mask or costume. The adult with the most original costume will win 2 Bayou Festival T-Shirts and a special prize to be announced at the event! For the little ones, there’s a Kid’s Corner featuring a Children’s Stage with fun activities. Balloons, face painting, reptile show, dance lessons, and lots more! The Crawfish Eating Contests will be held throughout the day with prizes for winners.
