In what other community does Santa do a fly-by in a helicopter to ring in the Christmas season?
The Montrose Christmas Parade is a chance for our community to get together and show off what makes us special. The parade has the required super cute Scouts and Y-Tribe kids, the marching bands from our local high schools, political figures in classic cars and the enthusiasts that drive them, horses and ponies and dogs that do tricks and lots of other talented people strolling down Honolulu Ave. Come early and mark your viewing spot and then grab a bite to eat at one of the great local restaurants in Montrose. The parade begins at 6pm at the corner of La Crescenta and Honolulu and the paraders walk down to Verdugo Blvd.
Mom tip: Your kiddos will definitely beg you for a light up trinket that street vendors sell along the route, so bring some cash if you are inclined to say yes to them.
Saturday 12/2 6pm start time, but get there early to snag a spot.
Parade route travels east on Honolulu Ave from La Crescenta Ave to Verdugo Rd
