Amanda V. Sargenti, Intuitive Artist
What’s In A Painting? Amanda V. Sargenti has always been passionate about the creative process and about painting. She considers herself an intuitive artist using color and form to make the invisible visible. In addition to focusing on self-exploration and self-expression, Amanda believes the creative process to be sacred and spiritual. She also uses art to increase intuition, to help balance her physical, mental and spiritual health. Her main goal when painting is to be immersed in the present moment, to facilitate a spiritual connection through metaphor, composition, color and energy.
Currently, Amanda is working as a registered Art Therapist and as a Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist in both a medical as well as a psychiatric hospital setting. She also conducts creative workshops in which participants are encouraged to use art as tool for self-expression, self-exploration, meditation and relaxation.
